First of all, open the document that you would like to print. Windows users will have to use the pricey Presto (formerly Fingerprint) or try O'Print, both of which come with free trials. Step 1: Open the Google Docs document that you want to print. Depending on your PDF app, tap the Share icon or look for Share in the options. The best tool for the job is Printopia, a $20 Mac app that transforms your bog-standard printer into an AirPrint-enabled machine. With AirPrint On your iPad, open a PDF document that youd like to print. To do this, you'll need to enable the functionality with a third-party app on your Mac or PC. In fact, when adding an AirPrint-compatible printer to a Mac, users have a choice between using AirPrint or using the native print driver. There's no need for any additional apps on your iPhone or iPad, the printer will appear and function like any AirPrint printer would. Most printers support several options that are not normally available through AirPrint, and are only accessible when using the manufacturer’s native driver. Step 4: Adjust the print settings as needed, then click the blue Print button. Step 3: Choose the Print option at the bottom of the menu. Step 2: Select File at the top-left of the window. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what youre looking for. FingerPrint from Collobos Software similarly offers Bonjour-based sharing. Search the worlds information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Printopia is priced at 9.95 with a 7-day free trial available. Some of these apps have the added benefit of remote printing over the internet, which allows you to send a job to your printer at home regardless of where you are. Users can also send print jobs from iOS 4.2 devices directly to their Macs (including Dropbox folders for automatic syncing), allowing for easy export of PDF/JPEG files without the need for actual printing. Then it's simply a case of downloading an app like HP Smart, Canon PRINT, Epson iPrint, Brother iPrint&Scan on your device and following the instructions.
